Our Story

Culinary Wine Camp was founded by sisters who share a deep passion for Italy, wine, and bringing people together around the table.

With a background spanning the Master Sommelier and leading food and wine media, their approach blends expertise with warmth—creating journeys that feel both elevated and deeply personal.

This isn’t just where they travel.

It’s how we live, connect, and host.

We named our company Culinary Wine Camp because at the heart of what we do and love, is food and wine. The word CAMP is purposeful because as an adult who doesn’t want to go back to camp? We want our guests to feel like they are at camp and have fun! We have taken care of all the details so you can be a true camper and immerse yourself into the experience.

Culinary Wine Camp was created to fill a void in the travel marketplace – we offer guests an insider’s guide to a particular region through a wine lens. Everything we do on the trip is wine-related – that of course includes visits to wineries (but not the traditional “wine tasting” and tour). We harvest grapes and learn to make cocktails with indigenous ingredients. We have winemakers and their families join us for lunch in restaurants in small villages and at Michelin Star restaurants for dinner. We attend cooking classes with local chefs in their restaurants.

How many times have you been on a trip and tried the most delicious wine but when you get home you can’t find it? Well don’t worry – we have that covered. Culinary Wine Camp partners with a local wine shop in the US that carries all the wine you try on the trip – in fact, included in your trip package are 12-bottles of cellar selected wines delivered to your home upon return as a thank you for joining us.

Our group size is small on purpose to give our guests the most immersive experience in the wine region. Also, the size gives our guests flexibility – you are on vacation after all. Our 5-day/4-night trips are intentionally short, giving guests the chance to explore more of the destination or simply savor a long weekend. Culinary Wine Camp was created to give our guests an insider guide of a particular wine region.

We have a historical tour on each trip, Culinary Wine Camp style – stopping at wine bars, pastry shops and coffee shops. And yes, we will have time for some of our favorite activities we enjoy on vacation including playing tennis, hiking, shopping, and spa treatments. We know that you are on vacation, so our itinerary allows for free time to relax and enjoy everything the region has to offer. Each trip is curated to the group requests.
